🧭 Position Overview

The CEVA Manager – Adjudication Lead provides oversight, management, and service delivery excellence for CEVA (Clinical Event Validation and Adjudication) projects. The role ensures seamless execution across multiple CEVA functions, including endpoint adjudication, core lab coordination, DSMB, and steering committee administration, while maintaining high-quality service and global consistency.


⚙️ Key Responsibilities

Project & Program Management

  • Provide tactical, day-to-day leadership for CEVA projects/programs.

  • Plan and manage project timelines, deliverables, resourcing, scope, quality, and finances.

  • Develop, finalize, and distribute all project-specific CEVA documents; design reports and listings.

  • Ensure proper use of electronic systems for CEVA processes.

  • Conduct audits and participate in inspections, liaising with Quality Assurance as needed.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships; drive customer loyalty and contract renewals.

  • Support business growth through proposal development, bid defense, and sales activities.

  • Analyze customer needs and provide cross-functional strategic solutions.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Lead, motivate, and manage CEVA teams, providing mentorship and guidance.

  • Deliver project-specific training for CEVA team members, monitors, and site personnel.

  • Collaborate with other CEVA managers to resolve challenges and ensure global consistency.

Financial & Business Oversight

  • Manage project financials, including budgets, revenue recognition, invoicing, and change orders.

  • Monitor profitability and provide guidance to less experienced CEVA staff.

  • Apply business acumen to drive operational efficiency and decision-making.


🎓 Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Regulatory Knowledge: GCP, ICH, and applicable regional and local clinical research regulations.

  • CEVA Expertise: Working knowledge of CEVA service lines, with willingness to expand cross-functional skills.

  • Project Management: Strong planning, organization, presentation, and reporting skills.

  • Leadership: Team management, conflict resolution, delegation, and mentoring capabilities.

  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication, networking, and teleconference leadership.

  • Business Acumen: Tactical planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and sales skills.

  • Other Competencies: Ability to manage multiple projects, handle ambiguity, and deliver results in a matrix environment.
