🧭 Position Overview

This sponsor-dedicated role provides country-level oversight of clinical trials from start-up through database lock and closeout. The Associate Clinical Project Manager (aCPM) ensures high-quality data delivery, regulatory compliance, and effective management of local trial activities. The role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, supports risk mitigation, and maintains inspection readiness in line with GCP, SOPs, and local regulations.


⚙️ Key Responsibilities

Project & Clinical Delivery

  • Provide input into integrated study management plans with the core project team or sub-team.

  • Accountable for assigned portions of clinical studies while optimizing speed, quality, and cost of delivery.

  • Set objectives for project sub-teams, communicate effectively, and assess performance.

  • Collaborate with other functional groups to support milestone achievement and resolve study issues.

  • Monitor progress against contract and provide updates to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Identify risks and contingencies; partner with project leader in problem-solving and resolution.

  • Achieve project quality by addressing risks and implementing corrective/preventative actions.

  • Serve as primary contact for small projects or as backup for larger projects.

  • Lead sub-team efforts, manage cross-collaboration, and support milestone achievement.

Financial & Operational Management

  • Support project leader in financial success of the project.

  • Forecast and identify opportunities to accelerate activities and bring revenue forward.

  • Manage changes in scope and support the change control process.

  • Identify lessons learned and implement best practices.

  • Act as primary contact for vendors and manage vendor-related activities as required.


🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or related field (required).

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical trial management experience accountable for regional trial activities.

  • Intermediate knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts in clinical project management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Clinical Knowledge: Broad protocol knowledge; therapeutic knowledge desired.

  • Regulatory: Skilled in applying GCP, ICH, and local regulatory requirements.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; presentation skills.

  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Organization: Planning, time management, and prioritization skills.

  • IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Collaboration: Effective cross-functional teamwork and stakeholder engagement.

  • Finance: Understanding of project financials.

  • Quality: Attention to detail and results-oriented approach.

  • Base Pay Range (Annualized): $68,400 – $232,800
