Role Overview

The Associate STEM Content Analyst will join the content team in Hyderabad/Chennai. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a talented team of 21+ professionals, reporting to the Team Manager. The role focuses on analyzing and interpreting chemical processes, drawing chemical structures, coding, and generating insights from multiple data sources.


Education & Qualifications

  • M.Sc. in Chemistry (General/Organic/Pharmaceutical Chemistry)


Experience

  • 0–1 year of relevant experience in chemical drawing packages (e.g., ISIS Draw)

  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex datasets

  • Technical skills in the assigned technology area


Key Skills

  • Problem identification and solving abilities

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Outstanding communication skills (written and oral English)

  • Team player with ability to work independently


Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • In-depth knowledge of at least one structure handling tool

  • IUPAC nomenclature expertise

  • Comprehensive knowledge of chemistry, including reactions, formulae, catalysts, additives, and their functions


Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret chemical processes from diverse data sources

  • Draw chemical structures, explore possibilities, and assign appropriate codes

  • Communicate findings clearly via written reports

  • Achieve production volume and quality targets, and record performance against set goals

  • Maintain awareness of current developments in assigned technology areas

  • Ensure consistent quality standards and compliance with process requirements

  • Participate actively within the team to meet collective targets

  • Manage personal workload through effective planning and time management

  • Adapt to process changes with flexibility and a positive approach

  • Deputize for team members when required

  • Identify ongoing training and developmental needs for technical growth

  • Promote personal and team safety by adhering to legal and organizational safety requirements

  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the Line Manager/Director


About the Team

The Chemistry team provides analytics and market insights to pharmaceutical, chemical, medical services, and managed care companies. Analysts deliver research and intelligence to support strategic planning, technology management, and competitive decision-making. The team’s work helps organizations develop new drugs, chemicals, and compositions, and effectively manage marketed products.


Work Hours

  • 40 hours per week (IST), Full-Time Equivalent (FTE)
