Job Summary:

As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, achieving business goals, and executing product management team strategies in your designated region. This role involves managing relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), monitoring competitor activities, understanding prescription trends, and organizing educational programs such as Continuing Medical Education (CME) events. Your focus will be on the promotion of new products, sales target achievement, and market intelligence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Promotion & Strategy Execution:

    • Drive the promotion and launch of new products in alignment with the Product Management Team's strategy.

    • Analyze market trends and collaborate with doctors to gather feedback for new product development.

    • Identify KOLs, track product availability, and implement brand strategies to support product launches.

  • Sales Monitoring & Management:

    • Regularly visit stockists, pharmacies, and healthcare providers to monitor primary and secondary sales.

    • Actively participate in monthly review meetings to evaluate coverage, adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and manage expenses.

    • Achieve sales targets for the region and specific products by ensuring effective execution of sales objectives.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and nurture strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and KOLs.

    • Use Infoginip for effective customer relationship management, addressing queries promptly, and classifying customers based on potential.

    • Track return on investment (ROI) for each customer to strengthen customer loyalty.

  • CME Events & Education:

    • Meet with KOLs and KELs to coordinate CME events and education initiatives.

    • Collect customer interests and organize CMEs on relevant topics to support the company’s brand image.

  • Data Management & Reporting:

    • Prepare a product matrix based on doctors' preferences and potential.

    • Regularly update data on chemists, doctors, and retail chemists using the Unnati portal and RCPA for accurate market tracking.


Qualifications:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Graduate with a science background (e.g., B.Sc. in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related fields).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in pharmaceutical sales.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic understanding of pharmaceutical products and marketing.

  • Experience in implementing and analyzing sales and marketing strategies.

  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and data management tools.
