Position: Senior Scientific Writer I
Location: Hyderabad, India (Hybrid)

About the Role:
The Senior Scientific Writer I is responsible for writing, editing, reconciling, and managing high-quality medical and scientific communications. This includes preparing manuscripts, literature reviews, abstracts, posters, and slide sets for publication or presentation, as well as for submission to regulatory authorities and clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and edit scientific documents such as manuscripts, literature reviews, abstracts, posters, and slide sets from various data sources (clinical study reports, patient profiles, protocols, etc.).
  • Perform quality control (QC) and proofreading to ensure documents meet customer expectations.
  • Manage up to two assigned projects at any given time, ensuring deadlines are met and feedback from customers is incorporated.
  • Follow and support project management tools, policies, and standards, including adhering to Novartis documentation specifications (e.g., Novstyle templates).
  • Track clinical trial milestones for assigned projects and maintain records for project archiving.
  • Ensure compliance with audit, SOP, and training requirements.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Role Requirements:
Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum science degree (B.Sc./equivalent) with 6 years of Clinical Research (CR) experience, or M.Sc./M.Pharm + 4 years of CR experience.
  • Desired: Doctoral degree or Medical Sciences qualification (MBBS/MD/equivalent).

Desirable Requirements:

  • Ph.D. + 2 years of CR experience, MBBS/equivalent + 2 years of CR experience, MD + 1 year of CR experience.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
