Position Overview:
The Regulatory Affairs Innovation Intern will gain hands-on experience designing and implementing technology-driven solutions to streamline regulatory, safety, and quality processes. This role emphasizes automation, AI, and analytics to enhance operational efficiency within Regulatory Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative solutions using artificial intelligence, analytics, and automation platforms to address regulatory and operational challenges.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across Regulatory, Safety, and Quality functions to identify process inefficiencies and propose technology-based improvements.

  • Demonstrate and communicate the capabilities of current software, platforms, and tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of regulatory operations.

  • Prepare and deliver a final presentation (PPT) showcasing internship projects and outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum age: 18 years.

  • GPA of 2.8 or higher.

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, or eligible via CPT/OPT through your university.

  • Full-time enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, PhD, or PharmD program at an accredited U.S. institution.

  • Rising Senior undergraduate, or Graduate/Doctoral student.

  • Available for a 10–12 week consecutive internship between May and August.

  • Willing to relocate and work onsite at Foster City, CA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree focus in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.

  • Knowledge of programming languages: Python, JavaScript, C, C++, SQL, PL/SQL.

  • Experience with web frameworks: LAMP, Django, Node.js, React.js, Angular.js.

  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, large language models, NLP, and intelligent automation.

  • Ability to design and implement practical solutions for operational challenges.

  • Strong verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Range: $19 – $55 (depending on education and location).

  • Paid company holidays, sick time, and housing stipends for eligible interns.
