Overview

Genmab is seeking a Biostatistics Intern to join its Biostatistics team for a 10-week summer internship. This role offers hands-on experience in statistical applications in clinical trials, drug development, and biotech research, providing a strong foundation for students interested in advancing a career in pharmaceutical statistics or clinical research.

Ideal candidates are PhD students in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related fields, with proficiency in SAS or R, and a strong interest in applying quantitative methods to solve real-world problems in clinical development.


Key Responsibilities

Statistical Analysis & Methodology:

  • Collaborate with senior biostatisticians on innovative statistical methods for clinical trial design and analysis.

  • Develop or assist in statistical methodology supporting drug development projects.

  • Engage with assigned research questions and provide analytical solutions aligned with business objectives.

Project Support & Team Collaboration:

  • Complete assigned goals and objectives to support the strategic business plan of Genmab.

  • Participate in team projects and present findings to the Biostatistics team.

  • Contribute to discussions on clinical trial design, statistical modeling, and data interpretation.


Required Qualifications

  • Current PhD student in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related quantitative field.

  • Strong attention to detail, highly motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: SAS or R.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with clinical trial design and statistical modeling.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Exposure to applied biostatistics in drug development projects.


Internship Details

  • Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite in Princeton, NJ; 2 days remote per week.

  • Eligibility: PhD students in relevant fields; not eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • Experience: Gain practical exposure to clinical trial statistics, computational methods, and biotech research.

  • Mentorship & Development: Work closely with experienced biostatisticians to build expertise in statistical modeling and clinical research.
