Position Overview:
The Senior Research Associate – Biology will join the Oncology In Vivo Pharmacology team, providing hands-on support for preclinical evaluation of novel oncology therapeutics. This role involves in vivo study execution, data analysis, tissue processing, and active participation in project teams. Minor off-shift and weekend flexibility may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in vivo experiments using murine models, including multiple dosing routes (IV, IP, PO, RO, subcutaneous).

  • Perform in-life and terminal blood collection, necropsy, and tissue handling for ex vivo analysis.

  • Daily responsibilities include dosing, tumor measurements, and tissue collections.

  • Assist with study planning, execution, and project team discussions to determine appropriate methods and techniques.

  • Organize and analyze experimental data, interpret results, and present findings to the team.

  • Support facility maintenance and research activities to meet project goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree OR

  • Bachelor’s + 2+ years of relevant experience OR

  • Associate + 4+ years of relevant experience OR

  • High School Diploma/GED + 5+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with murine models of cancer, inflammation, or immunology.

  • Experience in tissue culture and fundamental pharmacology.

  • Demonstrated ability to design, execute, and analyze experiments.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data analysis using GraphPad Prism or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of advanced in vivo techniques, including surgery and anesthesia.

  • Familiarity with StudyLog software and in vivo imaging is a plus.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $94,945 – $122,870 (dependent on experience, qualifications, and location).

  • Eligible for discretionary annual bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance).
