Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Commercialization Operations & Business Effectiveness (CO&BE) plays a key strategic role in turning Genmab’s 2030 vision of delivering its own medicines into reality. Embedded in the CO&BE team, this position is responsible for driving commercialization readiness, operational excellence, and cross-functional alignment for high-impact initiatives.

This role partners closely with Marketing leads and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution across Launch Readiness, Alliance Coordination, Strategic & Tactical Planning, Governance, and Continuous Improvement.

The Senior Manager is based in Princeton, NJ, reporting to the Associate Director, Commercialization & Business Effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead high-impact commercialization and launch readiness initiatives, driving alignment, strategy, and execution.

  • Structure project work, escalate risks, and enable informed decision-making across global and cross-functional teams.

  • Develop and operationalize cross-functional plans, streamline workstreams, and coordinate with alliance partners.

  • Maintain clear project timelines, status updates, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure effective team collaboration, accountability, and outcomes-driven discussions.

Strategic Planning & Operations

  • Connect strategy to delivery, translating commercialization objectives into actionable plans.

  • Serve as a trusted partner to Marketing and Commercialization colleagues, facilitating innovation and process improvements.

  • Own project documentation, executive communications, and governance materials.

  • Build momentum and clarity across high-performing, cross-functional teams.

Leadership & Culture

  • Embody and model Genmab’s culture of accountability, curiosity, and collaboration.

  • Navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and complex operational challenges with confidence.

  • Promote a proactive, solutions-focused mindset across stakeholders.


Requirements

  • BA/BS required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 3–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or biotech companies, including commercialization or market launch phases.

  • Proven experience in global, cross-functional project management, including process improvement or change initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, interdependent projects, timelines, and budgets.

  • Strong collaboration skills with a track record of aligning cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in Oncology/Hematology strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits (U.S.)

Salary Range: $124,320 – $186,480 annually (depending on experience, skills, and location)
