Job Overview

GSW, a leading global healthcare communications agency powered by Syneos Health, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multichannel healthcare advertising projects. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while aligning creative excellence with regulatory compliance.

The Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams across digital and traditional channels, managing end-to-end project execution for healthcare and pharmaceutical brands. The ideal candidate combines strong planning capabilities with people leadership and a deep understanding of U.S. pharmaceutical regulations.


Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Management

  • Manage the on-time and on-budget delivery of healthcare advertising projects with budgets up to USD 2 million

  • Oversee execution of multichannel projects across digital, print, and traditional media

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and schedules across all phases of delivery

  • Draft, track, and manage statements of work (SOWs), scope definitions, and budget estimates

  • Ensure adherence to agency development processes and client governance models

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including creative, strategy, digital, and production partners

  • Balance agency and client priorities while consulting internal stakeholders on scope, cost, and timing decisions

  • Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and client stakeholders

  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies

Operational Excellence

  • Apply multichannel delivery expertise to ensure high-quality output across platforms

  • Monitor scope changes and manage change control processes effectively

  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution and workflow efficiency

  • Support creative problem-solving while maintaining regulatory and compliance standards


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in healthcare advertising, interactive agencies, or professional services environments

  • 1–2 years of hands-on project management or project planning experience

  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. pharmaceutical regulations and promotional review processes

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

  • Availability to work West Coast (PST) business hours
