About the Role:
Medtronic is seeking a Senior Business Process Improvement Specialist to join its Hyderabad team. This role is designed for a process-oriented professional who will lead and implement process improvement initiatives within Customer Quality. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies and possess strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality strategies, performance standards, and tracking systems.

  • Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or related frameworks.

  • Analyze existing processes; create diagrams and evaluate improvement opportunities.

  • Facilitate and organize cross-functional project teams.

  • Establish and monitor metrics for process measurement and performance tracking.

  • Identify root causes of problems and align process changes to address performance shortfalls.

  • Consult on re-engineering strategies for process enhancement.

  • Deliver training sessions on measurement, analysis, and improvement techniques.

  • Benchmark best practices and incorporate them into internal processes.

  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and monitor project ROI.

  • Support schedule management and shifting priorities within projects.

  • Promote continuous improvement and act as an agent of change.


Candidate Profile:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification for degrees earned outside the U.S.)

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience (or 2 years with an advanced degree)

  • Strong understanding of quality improvement frameworks and process mapping

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies

Preferred Traits:

  • Independent, seasoned contributor with strong problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to influence decision-making and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders

  • Mentorship skills and capability to coach junior team members

  • Prior experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams

  • Analytical thinking with the ability to provide strategic recommendations


Work Environment & Expectations:

  • Hybrid role requiring both remote and on-site presence at the Nanakramguda office

  • May involve coaching, training, or overseeing the work of lower-level professionals

  • Interaction with internal departments and external vendors for seamless project execution
