About the Team – Antibody Development

The Antibody Team focuses on:

  • Design, development, purification, conjugation, and testing of antibodies

  • Application of groundbreaking tools and technologies in immunoassays

  • Ensuring reagent quality, performance, and specificity

Goal: Develop high-quality antibody products and generate product-specific data to promote research applications.


Role Overview

Purpose:
To be an integral member of the antibody development team, focusing on performance and specificity using innovative molecular biology methods.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute experiments meticulously to achieve project goals.

  • Maintain accurate and timely records in laboratory notebooks and data sheets.

  • Stay up-to-date with literature and scientific advancements in antibody development.

  • Compile, analyze, and present data in written and oral formats.

  • Actively participate in team meetings and discussions.

  • Ensure attention to detail and adherence to defined timelines.


Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences with 0–3 years of experience
    OR

  • Fresh Ph.D. (submitted within the last one year) in:

    • Molecular Biology

    • Immunology

    • Biotechnology

    • Biochemistry

    • Protein Design / Protein Purification


Desired Experience & Technical Skills

Core Skills

  • Hands-on experience in:

    • Nucleic acid extraction, PCR, cloning

    • RNA handling and understanding RNA best practices

    • Protein purification

    • Immunoassays (ELISA, Western Blotting, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry)

    • Cell culture techniques

  • Prior experience with protein or antibody conjugation (preferred)

Bioinformatics & Computational Tools

  • Proficiency in:

    • BLAST, sequence alignment (pairwise/multiple)

    • Expression vector design, codon optimization, primer design

    • Software: SnapGene, CLC Workbench, or Geneious

Additional Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to:

    • Single-cell molecular biology workflows

    • Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS)

    • Display technologies (phage, yeast, or ribosome display)

    • Antibody development platforms

Analytical & Reporting Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong statistical understanding and familiarity with tools like GraphPad Prism

  • Ability to prepare publications, project reports, or thesis documentation

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Collaborative team player with cross-functional coordination ability

  • Adaptability and curiosity to learn new techniques or technologies


Work Environment

  • Laboratory setting with exposure to:

    • Cold rooms/freezers (-22°F / -6°C)

    • Fluctuating temperatures (hot/cold)

    • Loud equipment noises

    • Strong chemical or biological odors

    • Hazardous/toxic materials

  • Compliance with GMP safety standards

  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety glasses, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, gowning, etc.
