Role Summary:

The Sales Trainer – India is responsible for developing and executing training programs to build sales force capabilities. This role partners closely with Sales Directors and Managers to drive coaching culture, support onboarding and continuous development, and ensure readiness for new product launches.


Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Force Development

  • Lead implementation of Sales Force Capabilities (SFC) action plan.

  • Coordinate and execute onboarding (IDP) for new sales representatives.

  • Design and deliver continuous learning programs tailored to sales needs.

  • Collaborate with District Sales Managers (DSMs) on coaching plans aligned with sales competency models.

  • Work cross-functionally with brand, medical, and training teams for product launches and training integration.

  • Conduct ongoing assessments to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities.

2. Sales Manager Development

  • Drive growth of Sales Managers through classroom coaching and development aligned to competency frameworks.

  • Foster a coaching culture by supporting Sales Directors in capability building.

  • Ensure Sales Managers are well-prepared to coach field reps, especially around new product launches.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Prior experience as a Sales Trainer, Sales Manager, or Sales Representative in the Pharmaceutical industry is essential.

  • Strong agility in learning, planning, and executing integrated training methods.

  • Effective collaboration, communication, and feedback skills.

  • Resilient, optimistic, and committed to professional development.


Additional Information

  • Must reside in Gurgaon and be willing to travel overnight as needed.
