About the Role
As part of Sanofi, you will use your expertise in statistics, analytics, data management, and computational skills to execute analyses of pre-existing data and generate meaningful insights. You will collaborate across GenMed, Medical Affairs, Business Operations & Strategy (BO&S), Commercial Product Teams, and the RWE group in the Chief Digital Office. This role requires strong knowledge of statistics, observational research design, statistical programming, and pharmaceutical industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
People
Collaborate with colleagues from GenMed, Medical Affairs, BO&S, and Commercial Product Teams to execute analyses of pre-existing data.
Work with SGz functions and the RWE group to maintain Sanofi’s data assets.
Partner with team members, providing support and guidance when needed.
Mentor and guide new joiners in the team.
Performance
Independently conduct Conventional Projects that support key internal decision-making, including:
Characterizing disease epidemiology using diagnostic and/or treatment codes.
Assessing study feasibility based on available patient populations.
Performing descriptive cohort analyses with limited outcomes.
Develop a deep understanding of Sanofi’s digital tools and platforms.
Apply statistical, analytical, and computational expertise to execute data analyses.
Maintain Sanofi’s data assets via primary data collection, secondary data licenses, and de-identified clinical trial data.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for RWE analytics.
Customer
Deliver accurate and timely outputs.
Be highly responsive to end-user needs and requests.
Process
Manage and prioritize all requests received through the centralized mailbox based on business needs.
About You
Experience
7+ years of relevant experience.
Proven experience analyzing multiple sources of secondary patient data (e.g., EMRs, administrative claims).
Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools (Qlik, Tableau, MicroStrategy) and integration with data technologies.
Exposure to RWE platforms such as AETION, PANALGO.
Soft Skills
Strong communication and ability to challenge conventional thinking constructively.

Ability to provide rapid response analytics.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in R, SAS, Python, and/or PySpark.
Education
BA/BS + 7 years of relevant experience
OR
MS/PhD + 5 years of relevant experience
Academic background in mathematics, statistics/biostatistics, statistical programming, observational research, epidemiology, health economics, or a related quantitative field.
Languages
Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
