Job Overview

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Quality Control Technician 3 for our advanced Membrane Analytical Laboratory (MAL) in Jaffrey, New Hampshire. This role is ideal for experienced laboratory professionals with a strong focus on quality, safety, and productivity in testing biopharmaceutical membranes.

The position supports advanced level testing operations, including membrane preparation, analysis, and troubleshooting, and requires intermediate proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). This is a hands-on role that ensures compliance with cGMP, ISO, and EHS standards while contributing to continuous laboratory improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently perform membrane and related material testing following SOPs, quality, safety, and GMP standards.

  • Operate, set up, and monitor analytical lab equipment, including HPLC/GPC, UV/Vis spectrophotometers, pH meters, and analytical balances.

  • Accurately document all testing activities and results in compliance with GMP requirements.

  • Initiate and contribute to Out of Specification (OOS) investigations.

  • Support execution of protocols, qualifications, and validations, maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment.

  • Review and verify test and process data for accuracy in LIMS.

  • Participate in laboratory audits, process troubleshooting, and advanced lab setup tasks.

  • Proactively identify and report safety, quality, and productivity issues, including hazardous conditions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Exposure to machinery, chemical reagents, and biological materials (Biosafety Levels 1 and 2).

  • Ability to stand or sit for up to 12 hours per shift.

  • Frequent lifting of 20–30 lbs (maximum 40–50 lbs), bending, twisting, and handling lab objects.


Qualifications & Experience Required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 3+ years of laboratory experience, preferably in an aseptic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Life Sciences or related discipline.

  • 1+ years of experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, ISO standards, and EHS compliance.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data documentation.

  • Certified trainer experience and ability to follow detailed test methods and specifications.

  • Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $24.00–$43.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
