Job Overview
MilliporeSigma is seeking a Quality Assurance Product Release Specialist to ensure the timely, compliant, and accurate release of purchased and manufactured goods. This role is critical to maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance, evaluating materials against established criteria, and supporting internal and external stakeholders with expert QA guidance.
The ideal candidate will have a background in life sciences or engineering, with quality experience in product release, material evaluation, or regulatory compliance. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in quality systems.

Key Responsibilities
Review raw materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with analytical, performance, packaging, labeling, and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate vendor documentation, including certificates of analysis, certificates of origin, and regulatory questionnaires.
Generate customer-facing documentation such as supply chain declarations, affidavits, and certificates of analysis and origin.
Assess compliance with import/export regulations, including animal by-product (ABP) regulations.
Perform thorough review of production and packaging batches, making usage decisions regarding material and product acceptability.
Serve as a subject matter expert for QA product release processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or related) or engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related).
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in quality assurance, product release, or related functions.
Proficiency with SAP and other quality management systems.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to establish collaborative relationships across departments and work independently.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $64,400 – $104,900, based on experience, education, and skills.
Eligibility for performance-based or sales-related bonuses.
