Job Overview
MilliporeSigma is seeking an Associate Quality Control Chemist to join our laboratory team in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in chemistry, biochemistry, or life sciences who are passionate about quality, analytical testing, and laboratory excellence.
The Associate QC Chemist will evaluate products according to established protocols, provide technical support to team members, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department’s quality functions. The position requires adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) standards, regulatory guidelines, and data integrity principles.
Note: This position does not provide work authorization sponsorship. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
Review stock suitability data and evaluate product quality in accordance with QMS guidelines.
Maintain and support general quality review functions within the laboratory.
Identify opportunities for process and quality improvement to ensure compliance with QMS standards.
Communicate effectively with management and cross-functional departments to uphold customer-focused excellence.
Prioritize responsibilities to align with departmental goals and operational timelines.
Support safe laboratory practices, including proper handling of chemicals and accurate documentation of results.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Life Science discipline.
2+ years of academic and/or professional laboratory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related life science field.
4+ years of experience in laboratory operations, analytical testing, or quality review.
Proficiency in analytical techniques, chemical calculations, and data integrity principles.
Experience with database software, Microsoft Office Suite, and laboratory information systems.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and effective in managing time and multiple priorities.
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Pay Range: $24.00 – $44.00, based on experience, education, and skills.
Eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
