About the Role:

The PBC Associate is responsible for the development and preparation of proposals, budgets, and contracts for new business opportunities. The role ensures high-quality and timely deliverables in collaboration with the Business Development team and Project Managers, in line with client expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Proposal Development:

  • Prepare high-quality proposals and presentation materials.

  • Collate and finalize proposal content with substantive editing and drafting for readability, consistency, and adherence to Novotech branding guidelines.

  • Ensure proposal templates remain relevant, compliant, and visually professional.

  • Research, compile, and present company and statistical information.

2. Budget Development:

  • Prepare budgets for projects based on client-provided information and schedules.

  • Develop other budget elements, e.g., client mapping, as required.

  • Liaise with vendors to obtain quotations.

3. Contract Management:

  • Prepare and execute new client contracts within agreed timeframes.

  • Include the appropriate budget format in contracts.

  • Ensure contracts comply with Novotech Contract Review SOPs.

  • Follow Start-Up Work Authorization processes to activate projects for handover to Operations teams.

  • Contact vendors for quotes based on protocol and vendor lists.

4. Other Responsibilities:

  • Communicate professionally with external parties, reflecting Novotech’s brand positively.

  • Attend internal and client calls to develop opportunity documents.

  • Maintain opportunity status and contract records in Salesforce and SharePoint.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in clinical or life sciences-related field (or relevant allied qualifications).

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Prior client-facing experience preferred.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly.
