Job Overview

Clario is hiring experienced Pricing and Proposals Specialists in India to support global clinical trial sponsors through accurate pricing strategies and high-quality proposal development. This role plays a critical part in managing change orders, pricing estimates, budgets, and RFP responses across complex clinical research projects.

The position operates on European working hours, offering exposure to international stakeholders while working remotely or from Bangalore.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed pricing estimates and supporting documentation for scope changes across Clario’s products and services

  • Collaborate with Project Management and Sales teams to generate cost estimates for simple to complex clinical projects

  • Prepare Change Order documents and proposals using Clario and client-specific templates

  • Deliver high-quality, compliant proposal documents within defined timelines

  • Maintain accurate budget, pricing, and project data within internal systems

  • Ensure proper document storage and version control as per departmental guidelines

  • Support RFP analysis, including protocol review and scope interpretation

  • Generate ballpark estimates, detailed budgets, and formal proposals for client requests


Additional Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Product, and Scientific teams to determine optimal pricing strategies for large or complex trials

  • Mentor and support junior team members, ensuring quality and consistency

  • Contribute to process improvements and proposal template enhancements

  • Support interdepartmental initiatives and training related to pricing, RFPs, and change management

  • Assist with additional projects and tasks as assigned


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (equivalent experience may be considered)

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in life sciences, clinical research, pharmaceuticals, or related industries

  • Proven experience in pricing estimation, budgeting, and change order proposal development

  • Strong understanding of medical and pharmaceutical industry terminology

  • Intermediate to expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is an advantage

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and prioritization skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
