๐Ÿ”Ž Job Overview

We are looking for a Site Budget and Contract Lead to manage the development of investigator budgets and contract proposals. As the main point of contact for budget and contract negotiations, you will work with clinical research sites across North America, EU, and other countries. Your role will involve collaboration with internal and external teams to ensure the timely completion of contracts and budgets for clinical trials.

๐Ÿ”‘ Key Responsibilities

1. Budget and Contract Development

  • Develop draft clinical budgets and maintain country-specific, sponsor-approved budget grids for negotiation with sites
  • Create project-specific Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) templates, customizing them per country-specific and sponsor requirements

2. Negotiation and Collaboration

  • Facilitate negotiations and secure signatures for site budgets/contracts with investigators, Legal Affairs, and Sponsors
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Project Management, Legal, Finance, Regulatory Affairs) to meet study timelines

3. Oversight and Tracking

  • Manage contract/budget amendments during the trial and update tracking systems for site payments
  • Act as the main POC for contract management in global studies, providing oversight to contractors and sub-CROs

4. Compliance and Communication

  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and SOPs and participate in departmental projects
  • Provide mentoring to junior team members and guide project teams with budget and contract negotiations

๐Ÿ“Œ Requirements

๐ŸŽ“ Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

๐Ÿ›  Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in clinical research with site budget/contract negotiation
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar contract lead role

๐Ÿ’ป Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional EU languages is a plus
  • Experience with dermatological and rheumatological clinical research is an asset
