Pharmacovigilance Services New Associate – Bengaluru (Freshers Welcome)

Job Summary:

Accenture is hiring a Pharmacovigilance Services New Associate for its Bengaluru location. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with a BSc or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree looking to build a career in pharmacovigilance and drug safety. As part of Accenture’s Life Sciences R&D vertical, you will work on critical case processing activities including data entry, MedDRA coding, and ICSR management in compliance with global regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, and case processing for ICSRs.

  • Ensure timely submission and follow-ups for ICSRs as per client and global regulatory requirements.

  • Perform reconciliation of reports and management of affiliate mailboxes.

  • Execute written follow-up activities for both serious and non-serious cases.

  • Adhere to detailed instructions and standard operating procedures for all tasks.

  • Work as an individual contributor within a closely supervised team setup.

  • Available to work in rotational shifts as required.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • BSc or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (Life Sciences domain).

  • 0–1 years of relevant experience in Pharmacovigilance or Drug Safety.

  • Proficiency in English (International).

  • Understanding of MedDRA coding and ICSR case processing (preferred).

  • Knowledge of global regulatory requirements (desirable).

  • Familiarity with Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety Surveillance operations.
