Role Overview

Syneos Health is seeking a Pharmaceutical Learning Content Creator to design and deliver high-impact, visually engaging learning experiences for its commercial and life sciences teams. This contract role is ideal for a creative learning professional with a strong background in instructional design, digital content development, and pharmaceutical training.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end creation of modern learning solutions, translating complex scientific and business concepts into compelling, compliant, and learner-focused content across digital and live formats.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver visually compelling learning materials, including:

    • eLearning modules and interactive courses

    • Virtual and in-person workshop materials

    • Multimedia content, animations, videos, and infographics

    • Commercial training and pull-through materials

  • Create scripts, speaker notes, and audio content to support digital learning assets

  • Collaborate closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders to align learning objectives, timelines, and deployment requirements

  • Apply instructional design, visual design, and user experience principles to optimize learning effectiveness

  • Translate complex pharmaceutical and medical information into clear, engaging, and learner-friendly visual formats

  • Test and validate eLearning modules across devices and platforms, resolving usability or technical issues as needed

  • Ensure all learning materials meet accessibility standards, including readability, contrast, and alternative text requirements

  • Support Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review processes by incorporating feedback and ensuring compliance

  • Manage the full lifecycle of learning deliverables, including quality assurance, version control, packaging, and deployment to learning management systems

  • Stay current with emerging learning technologies, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve learner engagement


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree required

    • Master’s degree in Learning Design, Instructional Technology, or related field preferred

  • Experience:

    • 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing learning content within a Learning & Development or corporate training environment

    • Prior experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare training strongly preferred

  • Technical & Creative Skills:

    • Advanced proficiency with Articulate Storyline 360, TechSmith Camtasia, Vyond, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

    • Strong visual design capabilities for creating videos, infographics, interactive PDFs, UI elements, and multimedia assets

    • Solid understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies

    • Excellent writing skills for creating clear, concise, and engaging learning content

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, including Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Copilot

  • Core Competencies:

    • Exceptional attention to detail and quality standards

    • Strong stakeholder communication and expectation management skills

    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment

    • High learning agility with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

    • Entrepreneurial and scalable approach to learning content development


Work Environment & Travel

  • Fully remote role within the United States

  • Up to 10% domestic travel may be required


Compensation

  • Anticipated hourly rate: USD $50.00

  • Final rate may vary based on experience, skills, and role alignment
