Role Overview

A leading biopharmaceutical commercial organization is seeking a results-oriented Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (PSR) to manage and grow an assigned territory in Zanesville, Ohio. This role focuses on driving product adoption, strengthening healthcare provider relationships, and executing data-driven territory strategies in alignment with national brand objectives.

The successful candidate will engage physicians, key opinion leaders, pharmacists, and healthcare stakeholders to deliver clinically focused product education while achieving or exceeding territory sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an integrated territory business plan to achieve and exceed assigned sales goals.

  • Identify and engage key influencers, decision-makers, and priority healthcare providers.

  • Deliver compliant, brand-specific clinical presentations to physicians and allied healthcare professionals.

  • Maintain consistent territory coverage aligned with defined call plans and strategic objectives.

  • Build deep product knowledge and maintain awareness of competitive landscape and regional market dynamics.

  • Analyze local market trends to establish short-term and long-term territory growth strategies.

  • Manage territory budget to support marketing initiatives and sales activities.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales peers, brand teams, and support functions to enhance customer experience.

  • Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, regulatory standards, and industry guidelines.

  • Complete required administrative reporting and CRM documentation accurately and on time.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required; Life Sciences preferred.

  • Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
    OR
    Business-to-business sales experience, relevant internship experience, or sales-focused academic background.

  • Demonstrated ability to exceed performance targets and drive measurable sales growth.

  • Strong account management, business analytics, and territory planning skills.

  • Ability to identify key decision-makers and influence prescribing behavior through strategic engagement.

  • Capability to learn, apply, and effectively communicate clinical data and disease state knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in respiratory therapeutic area sales.

  • Prior exposure to product launches or specialty pharmaceutical markets.
