About the Role

Syneos Health is seeking a high-performing Virtual Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to drive outbound sales and marketing engagement within a virtual healthcare environment. This position is ideal for experienced pharmaceutical sales professionals with strong specialty sales expertise and the ability to engage healthcare providers through digital and remote channels.

As a Virtual Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, you will promote products to physicians, pulmonologists, allergists, nurse practitioners, and clinic personnel while driving product awareness, clinical education, and territory growth. This is a results-driven role requiring strategic territory ownership, advanced virtual selling capabilities, and a strong understanding of specialty pharmaceutical markets.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required

  • Minimum 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience

  • Specialty pharmaceutical sales experience required

  • Biologics and buy-and-bill experience required

  • 1+ year of virtual or inside healthcare sales experience preferred

  • Proven success in customer engagement and relationship building through e-promotion and remote channels

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the virtual business owner for your assigned territory, developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed targets

  • Conduct outbound sales calls, virtual meetings, and email engagements with healthcare professionals (HCPs)

  • Educate physicians and clinical staff on disease state, product data, and clinical benefits

  • Present complex clinical information clearly and compliantly to support informed prescribing decisions

  • Apply advanced virtual selling techniques to drive urgency and accountability in patient care

  • Develop daily and weekly call plans to ensure effective target coverage

  • Perform pre-call planning and post-call analysis to maximize sales effectiveness

  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation and adhere to compliance guidelines

  • Build and sustain relationships with key decision-makers and influential healthcare providers

  • Manage territory budgets to optimize marketing and promotional activities
