Team Member – MSAT (Technology Transfer – OSD)


Job Summary

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories is hiring an experienced Team Member for the Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) department in Pydibimavaram, India. The role involves supporting technology transfer, process development, scale-up activities, and ensuring seamless execution of confirmatory, trial, and validation batches. This position is critical in optimizing processes for solid dosage forms (OSD) and preparing key documentation for regulatory and validation purposes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor confirmatory, scale-up, exhibit, pre-validation, and validation batches.

  • Ensure successful process scale-up and smooth batch execution for timely market supply.

  • Prepare and review Master Formulation Records (MFR), Process Instruction Sheets (PIS), sampling plans, and production records.

  • Conduct scale-up correlations from laboratory to plant level for unit operations.

  • Analyze process data and resolve regulatory deficiencies with cross-functional teams.

  • Develop and review protocols for hold time studies, PPQ batches, and stability studies.

  • Support cleaning validation, process validation, and verification activities.

  • Lead investigations and CAPA recommendations for batch failures or deviations.

  • Implement change control procedures during batch execution.

  • Plan and execute technical trials for root cause identification and process improvements.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Pharmacy.

  • 3–7 years of experience in MSAT, Technology Transfer, or Process Development.

  • Expertise in OSD process scale-up and technology transfer.

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical process optimization, validation, and GMP guidelines.

  • Proficiency in creating and reviewing technical documents and process reports.

  • Familiarity with ICH guidelines and global regulatory standards.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in statistical data analysis and software tools.

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

  • Capability to interpret process engineering data and perform risk assessments.
