About the Role:

IQVIA’s In-Home Clinical Solutions team is seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to deliver in-home diagnostic services.
This per diem role involves visiting patients’ homes to perform various clinical services including:

  • Phlebotomy

  • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)

  • Macular edema screenings

The position supports treatment initiation and adherence programs while allowing you to focus solely on clinical care — IQVIA manages scheduling and patient coordination.


Position Highlights:

  • Flexible, per diem scheduling

  • No minimum monthly visit requirement

  • Paid hourly compensation, including appointment and travel time (2-hour minimum per visit)

  • Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rates

  • Travel-based role (local territory coverage)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, and transportation in compliance with safety and regulatory procedures.

  • Conduct EKG and macular edema screenings (training provided).

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and supply management for in-home visits.

  • Collaborate with IQVIA’s coordination team to complete and submit documentation accurately and promptly.

  • Identify and report adverse events, product complaints, and patient inquiries as per company policy.

  • Track and record mileage and time logs for reimbursement and compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience (clinical or field setting) – required

  • At least 1 year of EKG experience – preferred

  • Certification preferred: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)

  • State License Requirement: CMA or CPT license required if located in Washington or Louisiana

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (for transporting equipment)

  • Willingness to travel up to 100 miles for patient visits

  • Proficiency in using medical equipment and maintaining documentation accuracy

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license (driving record will be reviewed prior to hire)

  • Must successfully pass drug screening and background check


Compensation:

  • Base Pay: $25.00 per hour
    (Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and location)

  • Additional compensation opportunities may include bonuses, incentives, or benefits packages
