Job Overview

We are hiring a Medical Contact Center Associate II with French language proficiency to support global pharmacovigilance and medical information operations. This role is responsible for handling medical information requests, product quality complaints, and adverse event reporting received through multiple communication channels.

The position plays a critical role in ensuring regulatory-compliant safety data management, high-quality customer service, and accurate documentation while supporting global pharmaceutical and CRO clients.


Key Responsibilities

Medical Information & Safety Case Management

  • Respond to medical information requests, product quality complaints, and general inquiries received via telephone, email, fax, or other communication channels in French.

  • Receive, document, and report Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) within defined regulatory timelines in compliance with internal SOPs and global regulations.

  • Execute drug safety data management activities, including call intake, documentation, peer review, and case follow-up.


Quality, Training & Process Support

  • Perform ongoing quality control checks, tracking metrics, and reconciliation of data from multiple sources.

  • Support assigned operational activities, including data tracking, reporting, and compliance monitoring.

  • Create, update, and maintain training materials in line with procedural, system, and regulatory updates.

  • Conduct training sessions and evaluate training effectiveness as required.

  • Maintain accountability for the accuracy, completeness, and quality of processed data.


Operational Excellence

  • Work in 24x7 rotational shifts to support global operations.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while maintaining service-level expectations.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management based on business needs.


Qualifications

Education & Language Requirements (Minimum)

  • Fluency in French (spoken and written) is mandatory.

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.

  • One of the following educational and experience combinations:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, or related discipline with 2–3 years of safety experience

    • BS/BA with 2–3 years of safety experience

    • MA/MS/PharmD with 1–2 years of safety experience

    • Associate degree with 4–5 years of relevant industry experience or 2+ years of safety experience

    • Non-degree qualification with 5–6 years of relevant industry experience or 2+ years of safety experience

Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.


Experience Required

  • 2–3 years of pharmacovigilance or drug safety experience, depending on educational background

  • Hands-on experience in:

    • AE/SAE case processing

    • Narrative writing and query management

    • Working within safety databases

    • Supporting regulatory safety submissions

  • Relevant industry experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or CRO environments

  • Experience in medical contact center or call center operations is preferred


Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English

  • Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls professionally

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and synthesize medical information

  • Good understanding of Pharmacovigilance regulations, ICH-GCP guidelines, and global safety requirements

  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Educational background in Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or Chemistry

  • Prior exposure to global safety operations or multilingual medical contact centers
