About the Role:

IQVIA’s In-Home Clinical Solutions Team is seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to provide patient care through in-home diagnostic services.
This per diem, travel-based role focuses on performing clinical services at patient residences, including phlebotomy, EKGs, and macular edema screenings—supporting treatment initiation and adherence strategies.

Scheduling and patient coordination are fully managed by IQVIA, allowing you to focus exclusively on high-quality clinical care.


Position Highlights:

  • Flexible Schedule – No minimum monthly visit requirement.

  • Per Diem Pay Structure – Hourly compensation includes both appointment and travel time (minimum 2 hours paid per visit).

  • Mileage Reimbursement – Based on IRS standard rate.

  • Travel-Based Role – Visits within approximately 100 miles of your geographic area.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, and transport according to IQVIA’s standards and regulatory guidelines.

  • Conduct electrocardiograms (EKGs) and macular edema screenings (training provided).

  • Ensure adherence to laboratory safety and specimen handling protocols.

  • Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work and storage environments.

  • Manage and restock clinical supply inventory.

  • Accurately complete and submit visit documentation and required forms.

  • Identify and report adverse events, product complaints, or patient issues per IQVIA and sponsor procedures.

  • Maintain accurate mileage and time logs for reimbursement and compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience (clinical or field setting required).

  • 1+ year of EKG experience preferred.

  • Certification Preferred: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).

  • State Licensure: Required in Washington or Louisiana (CMA or CPT license).

  • Physical Requirement: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (for medical/diagnostic equipment).

  • Travel Requirement: Up to 100 miles radius for patient visits.

  • Technical Skills: Competent in medical equipment use and documentation procedures.

  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, professionalism, and patient-focused approach.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    • Must pass drug screening and background check upon offer.

    • Fluent in spoken and written English.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Pay: $25.00/hour (potential range; varies by experience, location, and qualifications).

  • Additional Compensation:

    • Paid travel time (2-hour minimum per visit)

    • Mileage reimbursement (IRS standard rate)

    • Eligibility for incentive or bonus plans (role-dependent)
