About the Role:
IQVIA’s In-Home Clinical Solutions team is seeking an experienced and compassionate Mobile Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist to provide in-home diagnostic and clinical support to patients.
This per diem role involves traveling to patient residences to perform services such as phlebotomy, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and macular edema screenings, supporting treatment initiation and adherence programs.
This position is ideal for clinicians seeking flexibility — no monthly visit minimums, all scheduling and patient coordination are managed by IQVIA.
Position Highlights:
Per diem, mobile-based position with flexible hours
No minimum monthly visit requirement
Paid hourly compensation (includes travel and appointment time; 2-hour minimum per visit)
Mileage reimbursement at IRS-standard rates
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical & Diagnostic Duties
Perform in-home blood specimen collection, labeling, and transportation in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Conduct diagnostic screenings such as EKGs and macular edema exams (training provided).
Maintain and transport medical supplies and diagnostic equipment safely.
Ensure timely and accurate specimen delivery to designated laboratories.
Documentation & Compliance
Complete and submit all visit-related documentation promptly and accurately.
Maintain accurate mileage and time logs for reimbursement and compliance.
Identify and report adverse events, product complaints, or patient issues according to IQVIA and manufacturer protocols.
Operational & Administrative Support
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including vehicle and equipment.
Monitor clinical supply inventory and request replenishments as needed.
Collaborate with the clinical coordination team to ensure smooth scheduling and reporting.
Qualifications:
Education & Certification:
Certification as Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred.
State-issued CMA or CPT license required in Washington or Louisiana.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical or field environments (required).
At least 1 year of EKG experience (preferred).
Technical & Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (medical/diagnostic equipment).
Willingness to travel up to 100 miles for patient visits.
Proficiency in medical equipment handling and documentation accuracy.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Must pass drug screening and background check post-offer.

Compensation:
Base Pay: $25.00 per hour
Includes appointment and travel time
