Role Summary

Provide medical safety expertise to Sponsors of drugs, devices, and combination products during the post-marketing period. Support case processing, signal detection, and training of team members while ensuring compliance, quality, and productivity standards.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct primary medical review of cases, including:

    • Assessment for seriousness, listedness/labeling, and causality

    • Adverse event coding and narrative review

  • Update and document daily case data and case-feedback using appropriate trackers/tools.

  • Assume full responsibility for all assigned deliverables, meeting SLAs and KPIs.

  • Provide training and guidance to case processing teams on medical aspects of case processing (after 1 year of tenure).

  • Perform aggregate and signal analysis activities to support single case processing.

  • Promote and maintain a culture of high customer service and accountability.


Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical science, MD, DO, or equivalent. (Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.)

  • Language proficiency in English:

    • Speaking: ILR level 3+

    • Reading/Writing: ILR level 4+

  • Knowledge of medical sciences, diagnosis, therapeutics, drug treatments, and procedures.

  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for Clinical Research.

  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of clinical practice experience.
