Position Overview

The Manager – MCCS will develop and review medical affairs content, including:

  • Abstracts, manuscripts, and congress posters/presentations

  • Graphical abstracts, systematic literature reviews, and plain language summaries

  • Slide decks, medical education resources, social media, infographics, videos, and multi-media content

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, including MCCS teams, scientific publication committees, congress teams, digital channel teams, and generative AI groups, to ensure accurate, high-quality medical communication across therapeutic areas.


Key Responsibilities

  • Research, organize, interpret, and quality-check technical and medical content for assigned projects.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and cross-functional teams to develop solutions for medical content delivery (Graphics, Compliance, Statistics, Gen AI, etc.).

  • Ensure accuracy, data quality, and compliance of all medical content.

  • Manage timelines and deliverables while adhering to Pfizer standards.

  • Assist in development of training materials for product/therapeutic area priorities.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies for medical content creation.

  • Develop expertise in industry-leading tools/skills and share knowledge across the MCCS team.


Basic Qualifications

  • Education: Advanced scientific doctoral degree (PhD, PharmD, MBBS/MD, MSc, MPH, MPharm)

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in medical content writing/development for Pharma, CRO, Biotech, or academic settings

  • Excellent scientific writing skills; ability to summarize complex data clearly and concisely

  • Strong interpersonal skills for cross-cultural collaboration

  • Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Knowledge of statistical and epidemiologic principles used in medical research

  • Effective verbal and written English communication

  • Familiarity with technology applications in medical content development


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in medical content creation and assigned therapeutic areas

  • ISMPP-CMPP® certification

  • Multimedia and omnichannel content experience

  • Rapid adoption of digital content, technology, and resources

  • Global exposure in professional or educational settings
