This Research Biology Internship offers hands-on laboratory exposure within a world-class discovery research environment.


Role Overview

The Intern – Research (Biology) will support the Immuno-Oncology research team in performing cell-based experiments, executing mechanism-of-action studies, and contributing to early-stage drug discovery activities. This role provides direct laboratory experience in a high-performance scientific environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct cell-based assays and experiments supporting Immuno-Oncology drug discovery programs.

  • Design and execute experiments aimed at understanding mechanisms of action.

  • Learn and apply general molecular and cell biology techniques, including:

    • Aseptic cell culture

    • Flow cytometry

    • ELISA

  • Operate laboratory instruments and follow established protocols.

  • Analyze scientific data using appropriate software and prepare summary reports.

  • Interpret experimental results and participate in discussions during team meetings.

  • Present a final internship project summarizing key contributions.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age.

  • Minimum GPA of 2.8.

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship (or CPT/OPT through university).

  • Enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, or PhD program at an accredited U.S. institution.

  • Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior, Graduate, or Doctoral student.

  • Must remain enrolled full-time in the Fall semester following the internship.

  • Ability to complete a 10–12 week internship between May and August.

  • Ability to relocate and work onsite for the full duration of the internship.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree track in Life Sciences preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and propose solutions.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage short timelines.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and scientific excellence.


Experience Required (in Years)

  • 0–1 year of laboratory experience through academic coursework, lab classes, internships, or research projects.

  • 0–2 years of exposure to molecular and cell biology techniques (such as cell culture, flow cytometry, or ELISA).

  • 1–2 years of experience analyzing scientific data through academic or research activities (preferred).


Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly Range: USD 19.00 – USD 55.00, depending on education and geographic factors.

  • Benefits include paid company holidays, sick time, and housing stipends for eligible interns.
