Internship Overview

The SRx Summer Intern – Commercial Portfolio Analysis role offers hands-on exposure to U.S. pharmaceutical market research, injectable hospital product analytics, and commercial strategy development. This internship is designed for high-performing students interested in pharmaceutical marketing, competitive intelligence, and data-driven business decision-making.

The selected intern will collaborate closely with the SRx Marketing and Sales teams to evaluate the U.S. injectable hospital market landscape using IQVIA datasets and other secondary market intelligence sources. The role provides direct experience in portfolio benchmarking, competitive analysis, and commercial opportunity assessment within a dynamic, performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze U.S. injectable hospital market data using tools such as IQVIA

  • Evaluate competitor product portfolios and market positioning strategies

  • Benchmark Dr. Reddy’s injectable portfolio footprint against market competitors

  • Develop structured Excel-based analytical frameworks for commercial evaluation

  • Design preliminary wireframes for future portfolio dashboards

  • Identify and recommend 3–5 strategic growth opportunities for portfolio expansion

  • Present actionable commercial insights to senior stakeholders through a final strategic presentation

Eligibility & Educational Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmaceutical Management, Health Economics, or a related discipline

  • Expected graduation year: 2027

  • Enrollment at an accredited U.S.-based university

Experience Required

  • Prior internship, academic project, or research experience involving market analysis, business analytics, pharmaceutical marketing, or healthcare research preferred

  • Exposure to large healthcare datasets (e.g., IQVIA or similar syndicated data platforms) is advantageous

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with proficiency in large dataset interpretation

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills (pivot tables, financial/market models, data structuring)

  • Professional-level PowerPoint presentation skills

  • Ability to translate raw data into actionable commercial insights

  • Strong business acumen with strategic thinking ability

  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication proficiency

Work Authorization & Work Model

  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

  • Hybrid work structure: Four (4) days onsite in Princeton, NJ and one (1) remote workday per week
