Clinical Analyst Intern

About the Role

Dozee is looking for a curious, analytical, and detail-oriented Clinical Analyst Intern to join the Clinical / Medical Affairs team.

In this role, you will collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, and medical affairs leaders to generate Real World Evidence (RWE) from Dozee’s hospital deployments. Your work will contribute to clinical decision-making, scientific publications, and product innovation through rigorous data analysis and structured research documentation.


Key Responsibilities

1. Real World Evidence (RWE) & Data Analysis

  • Analyze de-identified patient monitoring data from hospital deployments.

  • Generate insights on:

    • Clinical outcomes

    • Early warning system performance

    • Care-pathway impact

  • Perform descriptive and inferential statistical analyses, including:

    • Cohort comparisons

    • Sensitivity and specificity analysis

    • Length-of-stay analysis

    • Time-to-event analysis

  • Use tools such as:

    • SQL

    • Python

    • R

    • SPSS

  • Support hypothesis-driven clinical studies by assisting with:

    • Study design

    • Cohort definition

    • Outcome measurement


2. Clinical Research & Literature Review

  • Conduct structured medical literature reviews using:

    • PubMed

    • Equivalent medical databases

  • Benchmark Dozee’s clinical findings against published evidence.

  • Summarize:

    • Study protocols

    • Peer-reviewed publications

    • Clinical guidelines

  • Prepare concise, decision-ready reports for the Medical Affairs team.

  • Assist in creating:

    • Manuscripts

    • Conference abstracts

    • Posters

    • Data visualizations and citation management


3. Documentation & Reporting

  • Create and maintain:

    • Study protocols

    • Statistical analysis plans

    • Data dictionaries

    • Final study reports

  • Document:

    • Data sources

    • Cohort selection logic

    • Exclusion criteria

    • Analytical assumptions

  • Ensure reproducibility and transparency in analyses.

  • Build and maintain dashboards tracking:

    • Clinical KPIs

    • Study-level metrics


Eligibility & Qualifications

Educational Background

Candidates should be currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:

  • Life Sciences

  • Biostatistics

  • Public Health

  • Pharmacy

  • Biomedical Engineering

  • Related disciplines

Preferred: Clinical backgrounds such as:

  • MBBS

  • BDS

  • Nursing


Required Skills

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of:

    • SQL

    • Python

  • Familiarity with statistical tools such as:

    • R

    • SPSS

  • Understanding of:

    • Hypothesis testing

    • Regression analysis

    • Survival analysis
