Role Overview

The HR Specialist supports global and regional Human Resources operations by delivering high-quality employee lifecycle services and first-line HR support. This role acts as a key contact for employee and manager inquiries, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant HR service delivery while contributing to continuous process improvement within HR Shared Services.


Key Responsibilities

Employee & Manager Support

  • Respond promptly and accurately to employee and manager inquiries related to HR policies, compensation, benefits, leave management, performance management, recognition programs, and general employment practices through HR systems such as Workday Help.

  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues to appropriate HR Centers of Excellence or leadership when required.

HR Operations & Lifecycle Management

  • Provide end-to-end support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, leave tracking, payroll coordination, benefits setup, and employment documentation.

  • Ensure a positive and consistent employee and manager experience through accurate data handling and service delivery.

Compliance, Audit & Documentation

  • Apply working knowledge of company policies and local employment legislation to guide employees and managers on routine and complex HR matters.

  • Maintain employee records in compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal audit requirements.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, evidence, and process insights as required.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Contribute to process mapping, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives, including SOP development.

  • Partner with HR functional teams to support the execution of HR programs, projects, and change initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain standardized templates and correspondence for routine and non-routine employment scenarios.

Confidentiality & Professional Standards

  • Manage sensitive and confidential employee information with a high level of discretion and integrity.

  • Operate in an ethical, compliant manner while promoting best practices across HR operations.


Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in an HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or HR Generalist role.

  • Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes within a multinational or regulated environment is preferred.

Technical & Language Skills

  • Experience with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday and Workday Help.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Fluency in English and Serbian is required.

  • Working proficiency in Italian or French is required; additional language skills are considered an asset.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all HR deliverables.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
