JOB OVERVIEW

The Healthcare Executive is responsible for promoting Pfizer products, achieving territory sales targets, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, key opinion leaders (KOLs), retailers, and wholesalers. The role involves scientific product detailing, territory management, customer engagement, competitor analysis, sales planning, and ensuring compliance with company policies and pharmacovigilance requirements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Territory Management

  • Achieve territory sales targets and business objectives.

  • Develop and execute territory sales plans.

  • Monitor sales performance and market trends.

  • Drive product growth within the assigned territory.

  • Expand business opportunities through effective territory management.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with doctors and healthcare professionals.

  • Engage with hospital Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

  • Visit hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and healthcare institutions.

  • Develop long-term customer partnerships.

  • Deliver excellent customer service.

Scientific Product Promotion

  • Conduct scientific product detailing.

  • Explain product features, benefits, efficacy, and clinical evidence.

  • Deliver customized promotional messages.

  • Support new product launches and promotional campaigns.

  • Conduct one-to-one product presentations.

Hospital & Institutional Business

  • Maintain relationships with hospitals and institutional customers.

  • Collect information on hospital medicine procurement processes.

  • Track annual medicine budgets and rate contracts.

  • Coordinate with hospital drug committees.

  • Support institutional sales growth.

Retail & Distribution Management

  • Visit retailers and wholesalers regularly.

  • Ensure product availability at retail outlets.

  • Book retailer orders.

  • Monitor stock levels.

  • Support product visibility and shelf placement.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor products and activities.

  • Collect market intelligence.

  • Analyze competitor sales trends.

  • Identify business opportunities.

  • Provide market feedback to management.

Promotional Activities

  • Organize doctor meetings and speaker programs.

  • Conduct round-table discussions.

  • Coordinate medical camps with medical associations.

  • Execute promotional campaigns.

  • Support product awareness initiatives.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily call reports.

  • Maintain customer interaction records.

  • Submit sales activity reports.

  • Track territory performance.

  • Maintain accurate documentation.

Pharmacovigilance & Compliance

  • Report adverse events (AEs).

  • Report product complaints.

  • Follow Pfizer SOPs and promotional guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain ethical promotional practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Healthcare District Managers.

  • Coordinate with Regional Business Managers.

  • Collaborate with internal sales teams.

  • Support business planning activities.


EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Required

  • 2–8 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
