Job Overview

A globally recognized advisory and management consulting organization is hiring an Associate Consultant – Commercial Consulting to join its Product and Portfolio Strategy team. This role supports pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and MedTech clients in areas such as new product planning, commercial strategy, pricing strategy, and market access.

The Associate Consultant will play a key role in delivering data-driven insights, strategic recommendations, and analytical frameworks that support critical business decisions across the healthcare and biopharma sectors.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in life sciences consulting, healthcare corporate strategy, pharmaceutical analytics, or commercial forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute primary and secondary research for client engagements

  • Conduct qualitative research including expert interviews with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), physicians, payors, providers, and industry stakeholders

  • Perform quantitative analysis including financial modeling, market sizing, sales forecasting, and claims data analysis

  • Develop structured insights and actionable recommendations from large datasets

  • Support strategic framework development for product portfolio and commercial decision-making

  • Prepare high-quality client deliverables including presentations, white papers, and analytical reports

  • Manage multiple consulting projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards

  • Contribute to business development activities including proposal development, RFP responses, and pitch materials

  • Collaborate with cross-functional global consulting teams

Required Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Life Sciences, Business, Healthcare Management, or related field.

Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in management consulting, healthcare strategy, pharmaceutical consulting, or corporate strategy within life sciences.
Advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD) may substitute for required experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Experience with financial modeling and market forecasting

  • Ability to perform both qualitative and quantitative research

  • Experience synthesizing complex healthcare data into strategic insights

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MS, MPH, PhD)

  • Direct experience working with biopharma or life sciences clients

  • Exposure to pricing strategy, market access, and product lifecycle planning

Compensation & Benefits (US Benchmark)

Base Salary: USD 84,000 – 105,000 annually
Performance-based bonus eligibility
