Job Overview

The Healthcare Executive will be responsible for driving sales and business growth within the assigned territory while ensuring compliance with Pfizer policies and operational standards. This role requires strategic thinking, strong customer engagement skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including medical practitioners, chemists, and hospital personnel.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Policy

  • Achieve sales budgets for the assigned territory through effective planning and execution

  • Collaborate with the District Manager to develop sales strategies, forecast validation, and rolling sales plans

  • Conduct sales analytics to identify priority areas and stakeholders for business growth

  • Classify medical practitioners by criticality (A/B/C) to focus efforts on high-impact accounts

  • Tailor promotional messages to customer needs to maximize sales impact

  • Adhere strictly to coverage plans, call frequency, and Pfizer policies

Operational & Process

  • Visit chemists, hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes to promote Pfizer products and gather competitor insights

  • Book orders and ensure optimal product availability in the market

  • Ensure proper display of point-of-sale materials and execute promotional campaigns

  • Conduct pre-call planning, CME programs, speaker sessions, and roundtable meetings for doctors and chemists

  • Maintain daily activity reports on customer calls, sales, and promotional activities

  • Forward adverse events and product complaints as per SOPs in a timely manner

  • Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key customers

  • Coordinate with CFA teams for inventory and supply management

  • Track hospital purchase trends and identify opportunities for growth

People & Team Development

  • Mentor Trainee PSOs or other field trainees assigned to the territory

  • Share learning experiences and promote team cooperation to achieve objectives

  • Uphold Pfizer global values and foster a culture of compliance and professionalism

  • Follow the proposed training calendar for continuous personal and professional development

Financial & Resource Management

  • Ensure achievement of sales budgets and assist in receivables collection

  • Manage and account for product samples, detailing aids, and other promotional materials

  • Properly record and report all expenses

Technology & Innovation

  • Utilize available technology solutions to enhance field operations and information accessibility

  • Stay updated on technology advancements to improve efficiency and reporting


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field (preferred)

  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare business development

  • Strong understanding of hospital, clinic, and chemist dynamics within a territory

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet sales targets

  • Proficient in MS Office and other sales enablement tools
