About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Fresher Medical Scribe to assist physicians by accurately documenting clinical encounters in real-time. The Virtual Medical Documentation Specialist (VMDS) observes live doctor-patient interactions and records structured, precise medical content into the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, enhancing clinical workflow and allowing physicians to focus fully on patient care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Document patient encounters accurately and promptly, including medical history, physical exams, diagnostic findings, test results, medical decisions, and treatment plans.

  • Maintain professional and unobtrusive communication with physicians to ensure comprehensive charting.

  • Create structured medical notes aligned with the documentation style preferred by each physician.

  • Navigate, update, and maintain accuracy in the hospital’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.

  • Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and internal data privacy standards.

  • Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and consistency in work schedule and task completion.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate in Life Sciences.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, with strong comprehension of American English accents.

  • Excellent grammar, spelling, and sentence construction skills.

  • Ability to accurately type and edit text in real-time.

  • Comfortable working with computers and software applications.

  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality of patient data.

  • Strong ethical standards and professional integrity.
