French Speaking Pharmacovigilance QC Associate – Budapest, Hungary (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
Cognizant is hiring a French-speaking Pharmacovigilance QC Associate in Budapest, Hungary. This hybrid, full-time role is ideal for professionals with 1+ year of experience in pharmacovigilance or clinical research and strong proficiency in French and English. You'll be responsible for translation, AE data entry, quality control, and Argus database management as part of a globally integrated drug safety team. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow within a multilingual, healthcare-focused environment while supporting global patient safety operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate AE reports from French/non-English to English and enter into AE forms
Conduct data entry and QC of AE reports in Argus Affiliate/Core systems
Triage, validate, and prioritize AE cases based on seriousness
Anonymize/redact source documents and manage document uploads
Perform duplicate checks and manage case follow-ups
Generate follow-up letters and collaborate with Country Organizations (COs)
Maintain daily tracking via Argus and Local Affiliate Module (LAM)
Review translations and data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
Participate in audits, SOP compliance, and ICH-GCP-related documentation
Assist in training and feedback to team members for quality improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate/Postgraduate/Doctorate in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Medical Sciences
Minimum 1 year experience in Pharmacovigilance or Clinical Research
Excellent spoken and written French and English (B2 CEFR or equivalent)
Familiarity with Argus safety database, AE case processing, and PV workflows
Strong understanding of GVP, ICH-GCP, MedDRA, and SOP-driven environments
Detail-oriented with strong quality control and translation review skills
