Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate / Doctorate degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences or related field

Experience:

  • Freshers to 2+ years of experience in Pharmacovigilance preferred

Languages:

  • Proficient spoken and written Spanish, Portuguese, and English (Minimum B2 level CEFR or equivalent)

  • OR Native non-English speaker educated in English, Spanish, and Portuguese medium


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive/Download/Accept safety cases from Document Exchange Tool, electronically, or other sources

  • Translate relevant non-English source documents into English (if needed)

  • Update fields in the Standard Adverse Event (AE) form

  • Save local language source documents and AE forms to shared drives/folders

  • Triage cases for validity and seriousness (if applicable)

  • Perform duplicate searches

  • Book-in initial cases or follow-ups based on duplicate search results

  • Enter mandatory data into Argus Affiliate/Core database

  • Conduct Self or Peer Quality Check (QC) of cases before forwarding to central processing

  • Anonymize/Redact source documents and AE forms (as needed)

  • Maintain daily case tracking spreadsheet with LAM/Argus IDs

  • Handle queries/action items from central processing regarding discrepancies

  • Follow up with Country Organization (CO) for missing or unclear data

  • Generate follow-up action items for:

    • Fatal

    • Life-threatening

    • Serious & non-serious cases

    • Pregnancy-related cases

    • Non-cases

  • Generate and send follow-up letters

  • Upload source documents and AE forms in Argus database

  • Transfer cases to Central Processing/Case Processing Team

  • Ensure adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and daily workflow

  • Prioritize cases based on seriousness and validity

  • Verify translations and data accuracy between source docs, AE forms, and Argus Core

  • Identify missing/clinically relevant info and correct errors or route back to fix

  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and Argus Core procedures

  • Maintain scientific accuracy and data consistency

  • Use process guidance documents to verify correct safety term capture

  • Provide documented feedback and performance monitoring of associates

  • Support root cause analysis and suggest corrective/preventive actions

  • Respond to queries from Team Case Book-in Associates (TCBAs)

  • Assist with project admin tasks and audit readiness

  • Train and mentor junior associates as needed

  • Be audit/inspection ready with knowledge of ICH (International Conference on Harmonization) standards
