French Speaking Affiliate Pharmacovigilance Associate – Budapest (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
Cognizant is hiring a French-speaking Affiliate Pharmacovigilance Associate for its expanding team in Budapest, Hungary. This full-time hybrid position is ideal for professionals with 1+ year of pharmacovigilance or clinical experience and fluency in French and English. The role involves handling safety information intake, case triage, AE data entry, translation, and quality control. This opportunity offers an engaging multilingual work environment and supports global patient safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and triage safety information from emails, voice calls, and internal systems
Enter adverse event data into front-end pharmacovigilance systems
Perform initial case validation, duplicate checks, and database searches
Translate and back-translate AE reports and redact confidential data as required
Assess case seriousness, dechallenge/rechallenge, and evaluate upgrades/downgrades
Coordinate with internal teams and escalate clarification queries when needed
Archive and maintain accurate case records and documents
Extract case data from health authority registries as needed
Adhere to SLAs, SOPs, and quality standards for case processing
Support training, mentorship, and knowledge sharing within the PV team
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related medical discipline
Minimum 1 year of experience in Pharmacovigilance or relevant clinical domain
Excellent spoken and written French and English (B2 level or above)
Strong understanding of AE case processing and PV workflows
Familiarity with ICH-GCP, MedDRA coding, and regulatory safety standards
Good documentation, translation, and communication skills
Able to manage multiple sources and data entry platforms simultaneously
