Job Opportunity: Formulation Scientist – Oral Solids Division

Dr. Reddy’s is seeking an experienced Formulation Scientist for their Oral Solids Division to oversee the design, development, and manufacturing of oral solid dosage forms. The role involves quality by design (QbD) implementation, process scale-up, and successful technology transfer for new products.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end formulation development for oral solids, from pre-formulation to scale-up for plant production.
Perform material characterization, drug-excipient compatibility, and Reference Listed Drug (RLD) analysis for generic product development.
Coordinate with analytical teams for Proof of Concept (POC) of generic equivalents of RLDs.
Manage the scale-up process for oral solid products to pilot/plant scales.
Monitor the development process to ensure bioequivalence and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Support regulatory submissions with comprehensive documentation.
Oversee technology transfer and batch execution, ensuring risk evaluation and mitigation at every stage.

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Requirement: Master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Experience: 5-8 years in oral solid product development, with expertise in formulation, scale-up, and technology transfer.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of QbD, GMP, GLP, and process optimization.
Behavioral Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and teamwork skills.
