Job Summary

Medpace is seeking a Medical Director in Endocrine/Metabolic Disease to join our expert clinical team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Medical Director will provide medical, scientific, and strategic leadership to ensure the successful planning, execution, and reporting of clinical trials. This role also involves serving as Medpace’s internal medical expert, supporting study design, protocol development, and the interpretation of clinical data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical management and scientific expertise for clinical trials.

  • Contribute medical input to study reports, regulatory submissions, and scientific manuscripts.

  • Manage safety issues in clinical trials and assist with case evaluations.

  • Collaborate in new business development, including proposals and sponsor meetings.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams in study design, feasibility, education, and documentation.

  • Ensure adherence to research protocols and company policies.


Qualifications

  • M.D. degree with specialization in Endocrine/Metabolic Disease.

  • Eligibility for medical licensure is required.

  • Board Certification preferred.

  • Prior clinical trial research experience desirable.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical-related clinical research preferred.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
