About the Role:
Join a dynamic, ambitious team in Clinical Operations at Excelya, where innovation and collaboration are key. As the Contract & Budget Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting clinical study teams in France and Europe, contributing to study budget development, and managing contract and budget processes. You’ll have the chance to make a direct impact on clinical research while working in a stimulating environment that fosters both personal and professional growth.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management:

    • Support clinical study teams in drafting and negotiating site agreements (legal & financial aspects) with hospitals, investigators, and research associations.

    • Customize and finalize contract templates in coordination with the internal legal department.

    • Ensure the timely submission of contracts to the French Medical Council (Conseil de l’Ordre).

  • Budget Management:

    • Contribute to study budget development, working closely with project and finance teams.

    • Record budgets in internal accounting tools and support accurate payment processing (investigator fees & trial expenses).

  • Tracking & Compliance:

    • Maintain tracking systems for contracts, payments, and administrative documents (e.g., URSSAF certificates).

    • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements throughout all activities.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Proven ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-moving environments (no strict minimum years required).

  • First experience in clinical research contract and budget management (CRO, pharma, or academic sponsor).

  • A degree in Law, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in both French and English.
