Job Summary

ICON plc, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, is hiring a Senior Contract Analyst for its India operations. This is a full home-based role ideal for candidates with over 3 years of site contract negotiation experience and more than 5 years in the clinical research industry. The role focuses on managing day-to-day clinical contract and budgeting activities for global multi-center trials, ensuring adherence to ICH/GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations within the Contracts function to ensure timely project deliverables.

  • Support cross-functional teams and ensure communication with stakeholders such as study teams.

  • Provide accurate project status and financial data in tracking systems.

  • Identify and escalate functional delivery issues proactively.

  • Manage functional budgets, resources, and timelines for clinical trials.

  • Implement standards for contract negotiations and trial support.

  • Provide oversight for financial and resource components of trial execution.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the clinical research industry.

  • At least 3 years of direct experience with site contract and budget negotiation.

  • Strong understanding of multi-center, global trial conduct.

  • Solid knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and relevant regulations.

  • Proven project management and leadership abilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and computer systems.

  • Fluent in English.
