Job Summary
ICON plc, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, is hiring a Senior Contract Analyst for its India operations. This is a full home-based role ideal for candidates with over 3 years of site contract negotiation experience and more than 5 years in the clinical research industry. The role focuses on managing day-to-day clinical contract and budgeting activities for global multi-center trials, ensuring adherence to ICH/GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily operations within the Contracts function to ensure timely project deliverables.
Support cross-functional teams and ensure communication with stakeholders such as study teams.
Provide accurate project status and financial data in tracking systems.
Identify and escalate functional delivery issues proactively.
Manage functional budgets, resources, and timelines for clinical trials.
Implement standards for contract negotiations and trial support.
Provide oversight for financial and resource components of trial execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the clinical research industry.
At least 3 years of direct experience with site contract and budget negotiation.
Strong understanding of multi-center, global trial conduct.
Solid knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and relevant regulations.
Proven project management and leadership abilities.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in administrative tasks and computer systems.
Fluent in English.
