Business Development and Finance Administrator – Clinical Research Support

Job Overview:
We are hiring a Business Development and Finance Administrator to support our executive leadership and cross-functional teams across client operations, business development, and finance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong administrative background, excellent attention to detail, and experience in managing contracts, reports, and invoicing. Familiarity with CRO operations is highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities:

General Administration:

  • Compile and deliver status reports, run internal and client-facing meetings, and generate detailed minutes.

  • Prepare Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Work Orders (WOs), and Purchase Orders (POs); ensure follow-up until closure.

  • Support the preparation of monthly governance reports, including recruiting metrics and client updates.

  • Review client contracts for completeness and accuracy.

  • Attend daily administrative meetings to ensure alignment and timely task execution.

  • Provide executive administrative support to senior leadership and operations teams.

Business Development:

  • Support the business development team by following up on leads and maintaining BD trackers.

  • Prepare status reports and assist with bid defense logistics and documentation.

  • Track and maintain documentation such as confidentiality disclosure agreements, MSAs, WOs, and POs.

Finance Support:

  • Assist in payroll review, ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations, and support tax jurisdiction setup and monitoring.

  • Track contributions for 401K, HSA, and FSA accounts.

  • Perform weekly timesheet reviews, salary tracking, and sick leave verification.

  • Coordinate with recruiters and AP teams for invoice reconciliation and PA invoicing.

  • Review invoices for accuracy in billing rates and time reporting.


Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Administration; experience within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) is preferred.

  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Familiarity with contracts, invoicing, and timesheet management processes.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data validation, formulas).

  • Strong problem-solving, tracking, and coordination abilities.


Estimated Salary: ₹8 – ₹12 LPA (based on experience and domain specialization)
