Job Overview

The Associate Project Manager (APM) manages small to medium-sized Connected Devices projects, either stand-alone or full-service, across all clinical trial phases. Working under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager, the APM ensures that project work is completed on time, within budget, and to the sponsor’s satisfaction, while adhering to company policies and procedures.


Essential Functions

  • Plan, initiate, execute, control, and deliver projects in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW).

  • Lead cross-functional Connected Devices teams to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Ensure project-specific guidelines are documented, communicated, and the team is trained accordingly.

  • Track project progress, identify risks, and seek guidance for corrective actions.

  • Prepare and present project updates at internal and external meetings.

  • Manage project financials under supervision, ensuring goals are achieved within scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Conduct End of Project (EOP) reviews to confirm all project activities are complete.

  • Keep leadership informed of project issues impacting quality, budget, or timelines, and request support for resolution.

  • Provide input to line managers regarding team member performance for career development.


Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or Healthcare-related discipline (Preferred).

    • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years industry experience (Preferred).

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Leadership and team management skills.

    • Strong prioritization, scheduling, and organizational abilities.

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    • Strong customer service orientation.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
