Job Overview

IQVIA is seeking an Associate Medical Data Review Manager to provide advanced medical review expertise and ensure high-quality, medically accurate data management deliverables across global clinical studies. This role supports structured medical review of patient data, identifies inconsistencies, and contributes to continuous process improvements while maintaining strong collaboration with clinical project teams and clients.


Key Responsibilities

Medical Data Review & Quality Oversight

  • Identify patient data inconsistencies and assess medical plausibility and protocol congruency.

  • Perform structured reviews of clinical data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and medical relevance.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for medical data review processes and therapeutic areas.

Project Management & Team Collaboration

  • Provide project management support with minimal supervision, collaborating with clinical study teams, internal stakeholders, and key decision-makers.

  • Track service performance and assist in identifying root causes of issues, implementing corrective actions where needed.

  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure timely resolution of compliance-related issues.

Process Improvement & Training

  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, data quality, and operational performance.

  • Deliver therapeutic training and medical guidance to project clinical teams.

  • Participate in project kick-off meetings, weekly team discussions, and client interactions as required.


Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • MBBS with minimum 2 years of experience, or

  • MD (any specialty), candidates with experience or freshers may apply.

Professional Experience

  • Experience in clinical data sciences within a CRO, pharmaceutical company, or medical environment is required.

  • Proven leadership or coordination experience in clinical or medical data roles is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of medical data structures, clinical workflows, and patient data review processes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Solid knowledge of Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Anatomy, and Physiology.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex clinical data.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficient project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while leveraging available resources.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with teams, managers, and clients.
