Associate Marketing Director, CRC Promotions

Location: Alameda, California, USA | Full-Time | Onsite

Position Summary

The Associate Marketing Director, CRC Promotions will support the development, execution, and optimization of U.S. promotional strategies for Zanza in metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). Reporting to the Senior Director, CRC Promotions, this role ensures successful commercialization, launch readiness, and ongoing promotional implementation across healthcare professional and patient-facing channels.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of U.S. marketing tactical plans for approval readiness and ongoing promotion of Zanza in mCRC.

  • Lead the execution of impactful promotional tactics for U.S. healthcare professionals across personal and non-personal channels.

  • Build and align the messaging platform and tactical rollout with brand strategy and objectives.

  • Ensure accurate and effective communication of brand messages and materials during sales meetings.

  • Assist in managing the promotions budget, setting performance metrics, and monitoring results.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including sales, sales training, market planning, compliance, and regulatory teams.

  • Work with the Patient/APP Marketing team to develop patient, caregiver, and APP-focused promotional materials.

  • Manage key vendor and agency relationships, including the promotional agency of record.

  • Promote strong collaboration and trust across marketing, sales, and organizational partners.

  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory, legal, and corporate policies governing promotional activities.


Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This role does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.


Required Education and Experience

Education Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a related field with at least 9 years of relevant experience; or

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 11 years of related experience; or

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical or biotech product marketing, field sales, or market research/analysis.

  • Pharmaceutical marketing experience required.

  • Strongly preferred: Oncology marketing experience and product launch experience.

  • Additional experience in patient marketing, advocacy relations, public relations, digital marketing, or sales is beneficial.

  • Strong understanding of FDA regulations governing pharmaceutical promotions and experience with Legal, Medical, and Regulatory review processes.


Work Environment and Travel

  • Modern, collaborative office environment equipped with ergonomic workstations and dual monitors.

  • Business travel required up to 30%.


Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is aligned with U.S. geographic labor markets.
Base Pay Range: USD 168,500 – 238,500 annually.
Final compensation will reflect geographic location, experience, skills, and internal equity.
